A lot goes into making Bunyan Baptist Church work; we sometimes talk about needing Prayer, People and Pounds… they are all important! You can find out more about how to support Bunyan’s ministry and mission in prayer, or by taking on a volunteering role by getting in touch on the contact form but this short section is about financial giving!
We work hard to ensure that everything we offer is either free, or heavily subsidised at the point of use. You don’t have to pay to come to services, meet with ministers, or attend some groups. Other groups have a small charge, typically donations to cover refreshment costs. However, there are costs associated with all the things we provide; premises and staff, materials, resources, refreshments and more… it all adds up!
Pretty much all the church’s income is given to the church by the Members and friends of Bunyan, who make monthly financial contributions, or one-off donations.
If you felt able to give financially to support the work of Bunyan Baptist Church, giving by monthly standing order is the best way! Receiving regular amounts helps us plan our finances and activities.
If you wanted to set up a standing order and need our bank details, or if you had questions about signing up for gift-aid (as a registered charity we can claim Gift Aid, adding 25p to every £1 given!), please do get in touch with our Treasurer via the contact form.

Or, you can use our giving station onsite for card payments and we also have an offering box for cash or cheques (payable to “Bunyan Baptist Church”).
Naturally, the question of “how much?” is totally up to you. If it helps, our ministry costs are a bit over £10,000 per month, and our premises costs are around £1,000 per month… and rest assured, all donations will be processed securely, and all giving is kept private and confidential.
