MYC (MONDAY YOUTH CLUB)
(AGE 11-18)
Because we love young people at Bunyan we have a whole heap of groups and activities to get stuck in with – a place for everybody! Join us in the Lounge on a comfy bean bag. Here’s the rundown on MYC.
We meet every Monday (how did you guess!) from 7:30pm-9pm during term time (usually in the Lounge). We mostly have fun playing games, snacking, chilling out, getting better at pool and table football, and usually finish the evening with a short video and discussion on topics such as AI and the Bible! If you’re someone who wants to get to know other young people outside of school and the normal after-school clubs, and are interested in things like what life’s all about and if there’s a good way to live it, then this group is for you. No question is off limits!
This group is led by Richard and Eric.
Several times in a term we mix it up and have an outside event such as go-karting, Old Town treasure hunt, wide games at the local field, BBQ, and also inside special events like a sleepover in the church building. All you need to take part is a enthusiasm, and depending on the cost of a special event, we may ask for a small contribution.
