Pastoral

Life will always have its highs and its lows; its pleasant and unpleasant surprises; its joys and anxieties. Jesus promises us that we’re never alone, no matter what is happening. We can be more aware of Jesus with us when we meet with others, so as a church we offer pastoral visiting where a Minister,  Elder or church member can visit you at home, in hospital or elsewhere to chat with you about specific things going on in your life; to offer communion; to share scripture or simply to give you the opportunity to be heard and prayed for.

The Prayer Chain is an email distribution list set up so that we can send and receive news that might otherwise take a while to filter across the church. The idea is that we can share about needs and situations within church life and the lives of our families, so that we can support one another in prayer. We never want to over-share, so we sometimes double check that the information in the prayer request has everyone’s consent to be shared… As such, it’s not an automated process, but we always aim to pass relevant prayer requests on within 24 hours. Get in touch via the contact page below if you’d like to know more, or join the Prayer Chain.
